Remembering those in prison ...
In Hebrews 13, we are exhorted to "remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison..." And Jesus says when we visit those in prison, we are visiting Him (Matt. 25).

Delaware City Vineyard is partnering with Kairos Prison Ministry’s Encounter Weekend at the Marion Correctional Institution (May 1-4). The goal of the weekend is to share the love of Jesus with prisoners. During this 3.5-day weekend, an interdenominational group of men from churches in Central Ohio visit MCI to minister to the men incarcerated there. Music, Scripture reflections, discussion, and shared meals are all part of the event.

How YOU can get involved:

-Bake cookies! The Kairos team gives away hundreds of dozens of cookies to the men at Marion Correctional. These cookies are a tangible expression of Jesus’ love and forgiveness. We are looking to provide 200 dozen cookies.
-Make placemats! DCV kids will be designing placemats during family ministry time on April 13. These placemats will bring a splash of color and joy during mealtimes at the prison.
-Be a part of the team! If you are interested in being a part of the Kairos team going into the prison for this event, contact Pug Heller.
